The wine is so soft and silky on the palate where the blueberry pie, brown sugar and cherry compote appear. The tannins are soft and round complemented by some fresh acidity. There is a long finish to this wine which will age wonderfully over the next 8-9 years or is very drinkable now. Pair with casseroles, meatloaf or braised short ribs.
