Jean Marc Brocard Chablis 'Vau de Vey' Premier Cru 2021

Jean Marc Brocard Chablis 'Vau de Vey' Premier Cru 2021

92+ Points - Vinous

The 2021 Chablis Vau de Vey 1er Cru, which had already been bottled, has a very expressive limestone and flinty bouquet, one of the most terroir expressive amongst this range. The palate is fresh with plenty of energy and has good balance and acidity; palpable ginger and Lemongrass notes are fizzing about the finish. This is a great Vau de Vey and should give drinking pleasure for 12-15 years.

93 Points - Decanter

Brocard's Vau de Vey is a masterclass in balancing ripe fruit with concentration, set against fine acidity and some lovely mineral notes on the finish. Not a shy, retiring premier cru but a wine with lots of personality and plenty of upside potential.
